hep at International Photovoltaic Expo in Tokyo
Team secures 24 MWp-strong project near Osaka
Nearly 70,000 visitors were expected at the "12th International Photovoltaic Power Generation Expo" in Tokyo this year. From February 27 through March 1, a team of German and Japanese experts presented hep’s business model and services. Especially hep’s expertise in engineering, procurement and construction as well as long-term maintenance of solar parks was of interest. The hep team valued the prominent Japanese platform for its opportunity to establish new contacts.
Simultaneously, hep was able to announce the settlement of a large open space at Sanda near Osaka. This development adds another 24 MWp to hep’s project pipeline in Japan and supports the Japanese government’s goal to integrate more renewable energies into the national energy mix. The solar park is expected to be grid-connected by 2022.
